Harmonies. I can't get enough of them. Local Natives, Fleet Foxes and my ultimate harmony heroes the Beach Boys all seem to be united in Dog Is Dead. A rather silly name for one of the liveliest bands of the moment. In the past few months they have exhibited their youthful musical skills on three singles with the fairly obvious name 'Your Childhood Trilogy': an ode to their teenage years, which are only a few seconds behind them.
Who says children must not play, cheer and shout at playgrounds? Some bloody good music has sprung from playground noise.
